Rajinikanth's 2.0 Film Ends Week 1 With 500 Cr Worldwide!

Director Shankar's science fiction 2.0 release in the theaters last Thursday, featuring Super Star Rajinikanth and Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar in the main leads, the movie have collected Rs. 500 crores worldwide closing first-week collections, tweeted trade expert Ramesh Bala.

It is just behind director Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion movie, which collected over Rs. 500 crores in just five days. The movie collections details will be shared later however as of Wednesday, Ramesh Bala said that 2.0 collected Rs. 120 crore and Rs. 360 crore at Overseas and Indian box office respectively.

2.0 is the sequel of Shankar - Rajinikanth's 2010 blockbuster Enthiran in Tamil and Robot in Telugu and Hindi had created the impression that the film is bound for a noteworthy keep running at the box office.

In the mean time, the film's Hindi version looked after its "blockbuster hit," tweeted trade expert Taran Adarsh on Thursday. 2.0 collected Rs. 9.50 crore on Wednesday conveying the main week aggregate to Rs. 132 crore.
