Bombay High Court asks CBFC to examine SRK's Zero for hurting religious sentiments & submit the report!

Bollywood's upcoming and most awaited film 'Zero' which arrived in a bad position after a writ request was recorded against Shah Rukh Khan and the creators prior, will presently be inspected by the Central Board of Film Certification. On Friday, the Bombay High Court requested that the CBFC analyze the motion picture and to present a report by December 18. This became known when a writ appeal to was documented against SRK and others for a scene that had SRK wearing a kirpan.

According to the official statement in ANI, "Bombay High Court asks Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to examine the film Zero and submit the report before 18 December, 2018, while hearing a writ petition filed against it for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by a scene in the movie with 'kirpan'."

The writ was recorded by Amritpal Singh Khalsa who addressed ANI and stated, "The motion picture Zero which is coming, the lead performer Shah Rukh Khan is seen wearing a Kirpan along the Gatra that we wear. So that is an obvious joke of our religion, our article of confidence that is harming my religious feelings. I think just Sikhs are given the elite benefit of wearing and conveying Kirpans under Article 25. So he is unmistakably damaging Article 25. Kirpan in the Sikh religion is our central right and the way Shah Rukh Khan has worn the Kirpan, he has a fabulous time of it. A ton of Sikhs has relinquished their lives for Kirpan amid the British time so he can't ridicule it. There is no prohibition on wearing Kirpan, he can wear Kirpan yet he needs to pursue the Sikh Rehat Maryada set of accepted rules."

Prior as well, the film had arrived stuck in an unfortunate situation. Nonetheless, the producers released an official explanation that said that it was only a 'conventional knife.' Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif and is set to hit screens on December 21.
